How is “Inbox Zero” different from ___?

This Saturday, I’m feeling especially grateful for the freedom and business I have.

The ability to completely take a step back from work and spend time with friends and family…

That’s a luxury I will always try never to take for granted.

Anyway…

My simple, brain-dead Inbox Zero system is available for purchase right now…

…and I’m willing to bet some of you might have questions or concerns.

As you may know, I’ve done workshops and courses on email management before.

Like Email Machine and GTD.

Well, what gives?

Is there actually a difference?

Yes, but what?

Here we go:

The goal with Email Machine and GTD was to build your systems around organizing your email inbox.

Which is incredibly helpful and important for any email system.

And I’ll touch on this briefly in Inbox Zero…but it’s not the focus.

Instead, the goal of my new workshop is to maintain and achieve Inbox Zero each and every day.

See the difference?

The other system gives you the setup, and Inbox Zero gives you the execution.

Without execution, what do you have? Nothing.

These two systems complement each other.

I personally use both, and so do my private clients.

So if you have already gone through my systems with GTD or Email Machine, I’d highly recommend you check out Inbox Zero.

You’ll discover the 5 steps and 7 rules that hundreds of my private clients and I use daily to achieve Inbox Zero.

Plus, you’ll be able to watch this system live as you stand over my shoulder on Zoom…

While I take my overflowing 500+ emails to Inbox Zero in 20 minutes flat (if not less).

More:

If you show up live, you will have the chance for me to clean your inbox to zero personally. Don’t worry, if you’re not comfortable with this, I won’t pick you.

As a “side hustler” turned successful business owner, I’ve learned some powerful lessons. One of the biggest lessons being: Your students, clients, and customers don’t care about the amount of information… They care about the problem you solve and the solution they’ll achieve. Nothing else. A winning course idea is never about a topic — it’s about a problem that needs to be solved. That may seem subtle, but it’s profound. Take it from me… Over the past 10 years, I’ve created hundreds of...

I used to think creating an online course was like giving birth to a child. You’d spend the next 9 months with nausea, and then deliver it with pain. (Sorry to put that graphic image in your head on a Monday!) That certainly was the case with the 2nd course I ever created — Zero to Done. I wanted to deliver my “manifesto” on productivity. A complete A to Z solution for productivity. Everything I knew about the topic. It took me weeks to outline… gather all the information… design slides…...

I’m chugging down some water and eating a banana right now. Why? In 10 minutes, I’m starting my run — a long one today. I’ve got some half-marathons and full marathons coming up, so I’m focusing on my training… The last thing I want is a cramp. Anyway, I’ve got to run soon (no pun intended)… This is your last reminder about my Inbox Zero Workshop happening tomorrow. Here’s everything you’ll get: 78 plug-and-play canned email templates (perfect for slow writers) The Inbox Zero Workflow Guide...
