There are tons of clever quotes about hustling: “Hustle beats talent when talent doesn’t hustle.” “When I started flirting with hustle, failure became my ex.” “Greatness only comes before hustle in the dictionary.” There’s probably some truth to these one-liners… …and probably some successful people came up with them. However, I’ve got a slightly controversial take on “hustling for success” in Q4 of 2024. What is it? Although Q4 is the most important quarter of the year… I’d rather sit through a 10-hour root canal than hustle (okay, maybe not that extreme, but you get the point). The simple reason being — hustle and freedom conflict. They don’t complement each other. And I’m after freedom, fulfillment, and accomplishment… Not hustling for the sake of hustling. If you’re reading this email right now, odds are, you feel the same way. That’s exactly why I offer a different solution. Something that aligns with our value of freedom to live life. Which is — proper planning. Plan for success. Develop a rock-solid strategy. Then success falls into place…as long as you have the right plan. And if you have the right plan in place, you’ll find more success than if you were just hustling. This has certainly been the case for me in my career as a business owner. It’s the reason I’ve been able to achieve almost every big goal I’ve set for myself (in 6x the speed it takes most people and companies). It’s the reason I’ve been able to sell hundreds of products and workshops (with zero workshop refunds, and only 2 product refunds).
